Temporary closure of our venues and facilities

The Victorian Government has introduced COVID-19 restrictions which will be in place from 11.59pm Thursday 15 July.
These restrictions mean there are only five reasons to leave home:
- - Essential shopping
- - Care giving/compassionate reasons
- - Essential work or permitted education
- - Exercise for two hours per day (with one other person)
- - To receive a COVID-19 vaccination (if eligible).
Additional restrictions are:
- - Stay within 5 kms of home other than permitted work or for shopping that is required outside this distance.
- - Masks must be worn everywhere - inside and outside - whenever you leave home.
This means that all Maroondah Leisure facilities and venues (Aquanation, Aquahub, The Rings, Maroondah Nets, Ringwood Golf and Dorset Golf) will be closed from the end of operating hours on Thursday 15 July until further notice.
This also means that all facility hire and programs including bootcamps, group fitness classes, Learn to Swim, gymnastics, stadium hire, golf and junior basketball programs will not run during the closure period.
What happens with my membership or visit pass?
All direct debit memberships will be paused for the duration of the closure. An adjustment will be applied to your membership profile based on the closure timeframe.
Fixed term memberships will be paused for the duration of the closure. The expiry date will be extended based on the closure timeframe.
Learn to Swim and Gymnastic members
All direct debit Learn to Swim and Gymnastic memberships will be paused for the duration of the closure. You will not be charged for the period of time we are closed.
For all lessons scheduled during the closure period a credit will be applied to your membership profile.
Visit pass holders
Visit pass expiry dates will be extended based on the closure timeframe.
No suspension fees or limits will apply during the closure timeframe.
When can I book a round of golf?
Bookings in MiClub can be made for Wednesday 28 July from 8pm Tuesday 20 July, as per the normal booking process (8 days in advance).
What happens to my Biddy Ball program at The Rings?
A reimbursement will be arranged for missed lessons due to the closure. We will be in contact with you to make arrangements once the venue reopens.
What happens if I have hired a court or function room at The Rings or Maroondah Nets?
All bookings will be rescheduled when possible with no charge incurred for cancellation throughout the closure period.
