Aquanation and Aquahub increased venue capacity

We are excited to welcome you back and reactivate your membership.
Thank you for your ongoing support and loyalty to Maroondah Leisure and our facilities. Today the Acting Premier announced a further easing of COVID-19 restrictions. As a result, we can increase our venue capacity limits and restart our group fitness classes and other programs. Face masks continue to be required when indoors.
We will be reactivating memberships from Friday 25 June. Please note all memberships have been credited for the full closure period. Your first debit will be on Thursday 8 July unless otherwise specified.
What will reopen and when?
We want to welcome you back as soon as we can and will have the following services available from 5.30am, Friday 25 June:
- Main pool
- Leisure pool
- Warm water pool
- Personal training
- Outdoor Bootcamp (Aquanation only)
- Café (8.30am)
Additional services available from Monday 28 June will be:
- Group fitness
- Aqua Aerobics and Warm Water classes
- Learn to Swim
- Active Adults
- Teen Gym
Session bookings are only required for group fitness and outdoor bootcamp. However, capacity limits do apply. Please be patient with our team during peak times and be aware that there may be a short wait if the venue reaches the capacity limits.
Bookings for group fitness and outdoor bootcamp open 8.30am Friday 25 June through the Maroondah Leisure app or by phoning Aquanation on 9294 4600 or Aquahub on 9294 5500.
What will remain closed?
The sauna, steam room, waterslides and public dive boards will remain closed until further notice.
What happens to my fixed term membership?
We will be reactivating your membership from Friday 25 June. Your fixed term membership expiry date has been extended by the full closure period.
What happens to my visit pass?
Your visit pass expiry date has been extended by the full closure period.

With more people heading back into our facilities, it’s important to remember to be kind to ourselves, our team members and to each other.
Here’s some tips:
- Be patient with other patrons. Change affects different people in different ways.
- Respect our team members and follow directions, they are there to keep everyone safe.
- Bring a towel to gym workouts and group fitness classes. If you forget, simply purchase one for $4.99 at customer service or in the gym. We don't want to turn you away.
- Wipe down gym equipment after use with the anti-bacterial spray and paper towel that’s provided.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early for your group fitness class to allow for check in.
Mandatory check in with QR Code
Everybody is required to check in to our facilities using the Victorian Government's QR Code, regardless of how long they are on site. The QR codes are provided at the entrance and customer service counter. If you are having difficulty using the QR code, please speak with one of our Customer Service team who will assist you.
