What services are available*?

Junior Programs - Biddy Ball & School Holiday Programs


Can I stay and watch my child?

School holiday programs: Parents/guardians are welcome to stay and watch or you can leave your child in the care of our coaches and staff. 
Term programs: Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian.

How do I book my session?

Only online or pre-arranged bookings are available to adhere to social distancing requirements and capacity management. No walk-ins.

Will you be accepting trials for Biddy Ball?
Yes, pre-arranged bookings are available.  No walk-ins please.

How long is each Biddy Ball session? 
Each Biddy Ball Intro and Biddy ball Skills class is 45 minutes.

After your class, please collect your things and leave the facility promptly so the next session can commence as scheduled. 

When do school holiday programs run?

Programs run over multiple days from 9:30am to 3:30pm. You can register for one, two or all available days.

Are there toilet facilities available?
In line with Victorian Government regulations our toilets and hand basins will be available.

What should I bring with me?
Your own filled drink bottles. Note that drink fountains will not be available. 

Your own basketball for use in term based Biddy Ball Intro and Biddy Ball Skills classes.  

School holiday program participants are encouraged to bring their own basketball, soccer ball, volleyball or netball if they have one.

We will have ball sanitising stations available on arrival.

What hygiene and safety measures are in place?
Maroondah Leisure will be following and enforcing the below hygiene, social distancing measures and safety protocols:

Additional cleaning processes have been introduced and cleaning frequency increased to include cleaning between session bookings. Special attention will be taken to disinfect all high touch surfaces.

Staff will direct participants that if they are feeling unwell or have symptoms of fever, flu, cough or respiratory problems, they should not attend the session.

Session restrictions which adhere to Victorian Government regulations apply.

Staff will wipe over all fixtures, common use areas and equipment prior to each session with disinfectant wipes and spray that will kill 99.9% of germs.

Any balls brought in to venues must be sanitised on arrival.

Can I leave a session early?

Yes, please exit through the normal venue entry/exit point.

What happens to lost property?
Lost property will be kept for 1 week only and can be collected from the venue.

Casual Shooting, Pickleball, Badminton and Table tennis


Who can attend?

Anyone with a confirmed booking can attend our facilities. Court allocation will be managed by the venues.

Are there toilet facilities available?

In line with Victorian Government regulations our toilets and hand basins will be available.

What should I bring with me?
Your own filled drink bottles and your own basketball for use in your casual shooting session.  We will have basketball sanitising stations available on arrival.  Loan basketballs will not be available. 

Can I change my session booking or have a refund?
Refunds and cancellations are unavailable for missed sessions, illness or change of mind. However, on provision of a medical certificate we can arrange an alternate session - please email therings@maroondah.vic.gov.au or maroondahnets@maroondah.vic.gov.au.

When will domestic basketball and netball competitions commence?
Please contact your sporting club for information regarding a return to training and competitions.

Function Room


When can I hire the function room?
Fill out a Booking Form for The Rings here or Booking Form for Maroondah Nets here and we will contact you regarding your request. Room hire is subject to allowed purposes for indoor gatherings. Call The Rings on 9298 4487 or Maroondah Nets on 9298 4535 to discuss your options.

What is your room capacity?
Capacity is dependent on relevant social distancing guidelines.
