Three virtual workouts you can do with a fellow isolation buddy
Here are our favourite virtual gym buddy challenges.
The push-up challenge
Challenge a friend to do as many push-ups as possible in a time frame (maybe 30 seconds). Or you could see who can continue to do push-ups for the longest amount of time without stopping. Always remember technique is always important to avoid injury.
Challenge a friend to hold a plank for as long as possible. The person who can hold for the longest and maintain technique wins. Remember – it should always be the best of three.
Wall sit challenge
Ooooh feel the burn with this one. Challenge a friend to hold a wall sit as long as possible. The person who can hold for the longest is the winner.
Remember your thighs must be parallel to the floor or it’s not a wall sit. Make sure you engage your abdominal muscles and slowly slide your back down the wall until your thighs are parallel to the ground.
Adjust your feet so your knees are directly above your ankles (rather than over your toes). Keep your back flat against the wall.
