Client portal how to guide - Members, visit pass holders & casuals

You will either need to login, set up a password, or set up an account to start using the online client portal.

Option 1: I am an existing Maroondah Leisure member or visit pass holder, or I have been a member in the past:

An account has been created for you however you will need to set up a password.

To do this select 'set up password' below and enter the email address linked to your Maroondah Leisure account. You will be sent an email with instructions to set up your password.

You will need to create an online account.

Select ‘create account’ below and complete the registration details to create an account.

I have forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

  1. Go to the set your password page on the client portal.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your Maroondah Leisure account and click submit.
  3. Follow the instructions in the email you receive to set a password for your account.
  4. If you do not receive an email, first check you spam and junk.
    If you still have no email please contact us to check the email address associated with your account.

How do I update my email address, password and/or personal details?

  1. Access the client portal and log in using your username and password.
  2. Select 'Account' and choose ‘Edit Profile’.
  3. Edit details as required.
  4. Select ‘Save Changes’ at the bottom of the page.

How do I update my payment details?

  1. Access the client portal and log in using your username and password.
  2. Select ‘Account’.
  3. Select ‘Payment settings’ and chose the relevant members name from the drop-down list.
  4. Select ‘Add new payment method’ and update as required.

How do I pay an outstanding amount?

  1. Access the client portal and log in using your username and password.
  2. Select ‘Account’.
  3. Select ‘Payments’ and check the box next to the payment/s you wish to make.
  4. Select ‘Pay ’and enter your payment details.

How do I freeze my membership?

Wellness Plus, Fitness Plus and Swim Plus members

You are entitled to unlimited, free membership freeze. No medical certificate required.

Complete a membership freeze 

  1. Access the client portal and log in using your username and password.
  2. Select ‘Account'.
  3. Select ‘Contract details‘ and select the contract that you would like to freeze.
  4. Select ‘Freeze contract’ and enter the date that you wish to freeze, the date you wish for the freeze to end, and the freeze reason. 

Golf and Lifestyle members

General/personal freeze is free for eight (8) weeks per year, after which regular membership costs will resume unless a medical certificate is provided.

You can freeze for medical reasons for an unlimited time period provided a medical certificate with relevant dates is attached. Medical freeze does not count towards the eight (8) weeks general/personal freeze. Medical freeze requires a medical certificate.

  3. Select ‘Contract details‘ and select the contract that you would like to freeze.
  4. Select ‘Freeze contract’ and enter the date that you wish to freeze, the date you wish for the freeze to end, and the freeze reason.

How do I cancel my membership?

Membership cancellation is not available through the client portal. Please contact the memberships team on 9298 4600 for membership cancellation.


Group fitness

I am an existing member. How do I book a group fitness class?

The process for booking group fitness classes has not changed. You can continue using the Maroondah Leisure app, or you can use the booking links in the timetable.

Conditions for group fitness bookings:

  • Members can book at no charge and can book back-to-back classes
  • Bookings open 48 hours in advance of the class commencing. Aqua Aerobics and Active Nation classes only: class start times will be scheduled 5 minutes prior to the class starting to allow members to book a future class within the 48 hour advance window before participating in the current class.
  • Bookings close 5 minutes prior to the class starting.
  • We request that all class bookings are cancelled at least 30 minutes prior to the class starting to allow other participants to book.

I am not a member. How do I book a group fitness class?

Group fitness classes can be booked using the Maroondah Leisure app, or you can use the booking links in the timetable.

  • Casual users must pay at the time of booking. Multi visit passes can be used at time of booking.
  • Bookings open 48 hours in advance of the class commencing. 
  • Bookings close 5 minutes prior to the class starting.

How do I save a class booking to my calendar?

  1. Book you group fitness class.
  2. Select 'My Bookings' to see your reserved classes.
  3. Select 'Add to calendar' and follow the prompts to add the class to your calendar.


Visit passes

How do I check how many visits are remaining on my visit pass?

  1. Access the client portal and log in using your username and password.
  2. Select ‘Shop’ and ‘My Purchases’.
  3. The number of visits remaining and the expiry date will be displayed. You can also view history of past visit passes held.

How do I purchase a new visit pass?

  1. Access the client portal  and log in using your username and password.
  2. Select ‘Shop’ and select ‘Buy now’.
  3. Select the visit pass you want to purchase and click ‘Add to cart’.
  4. Select ‘Go to shopping cart’ to go to the checkout, or ‘Continue shopping’ to add more products.
  5. Select ‘Go to payment’ and follow the prompts to process payment.
