With strength training and social exercise groups on offer, our tailored programs can assist you to regain, improve and maintain muscle strength, preserve bone density, and improve balance, flexibility and coordination.
Living Longer Living Stronger - strength training for older adults
Living Longer Living Stronger is a Council on the Ageing endorsed strength training program for mature aged men and women:
- Learn a series of safe strength training techniques and progress towards increasing your strength
- Attend whichever session suits you, as the program is sessional
- Classes are conducted in a safe, enjoyable, friendly and social environment
- All participants are assessed prior to commencing, to ensure safety

All participants must provide a letter from their doctor declaring them fit to participate. Please contact us on 9294 5500 to make an appointment for an initial fitness assessment.
Come and meet new friends, have a go, stay for a chat… and a laugh! The Active Sports group is fun sports and exercise program for older adults, supervised by qualified staff. The program provides an opportunity for you to exercise regularly, keep active and meet new people, without the pressure of competition.
- Participate in badminton, table tennis and Newcomb
- Fees are nominal – just pay as you go!
Tuesdays: 10am to 12pm. Casual badminton and table tennis session - unsupervised.
Thursdays: 10am to 12pm. Structured program including warm up, court sports and a variety of activities - supervised.

Seated exercise - a first step back to exercise
Increase your energy and reduce the pain associated with arthritis.
Seated exercise offers a gentle exercise option, where participants sit in a stable and comfortable chair. Use hand weights, ankle weights, and resistance bands in a monitored, supportive environment. Exercises in supported standing positions are also encouraged, where appropriate
Mondays: 1.30pm to 2.30pm (excludes public holidays)
Wednesdays: 1.30pm to 2.30pm (gym based program)
$8 per session
