Group fitness update: Aquanation and Aquahub

Guess what? We're slingin' not one, but two group fitness timetables your way for both Aquahub and Aquanation. 

That's right, Holiday timetables begin on Monday 18 December to Sunday 7 January at both Aquanation and Aquahub. 

There'll be heaps of variety at both venues to keep you active (keep an eye out for Aquanation's sunrise yoga) throughout the silly season and help you kick start your new year goals in a fun group environment.

Aquahub

So what's the goss on our new year timetables?

Well friends, beginning Monday 8 January you're in for some pretty sweet group fitness goodness. 

Aquahub's new timetable will feature new Metafit classes Monday at 10:35am and Thursdays at 7:45pm. Combining traditional bodyweight exercises with the latest HIIT training techniques, these 30 Metafit classes led by Simon and Virginia will set your metabolism on fire!

And for a bit of a double scoop workout, each Metafit session has been thoughtfully paired with a BODYPUMP class. 

Tuesday 6am Tabata drops off, but don't worry you can re-rout your HIIT training to Thursday 6am FITT Express with Nicole.

There's also a new Wednesday 7pm Aquahu with Maz, replacing Tuesday 7pm Deep Water Aqua, helping you space out your evening Aqua options.

Thursday XTC is no longer available, but you can still get your 45 minute HIIT hit with XTC on Tuesdays. And to allow more recreational space in the Warm Water pool, Friday 8:05am Active Aqua drops off. 

Why not shake things up a bit and try something new with your group fitness workouts in 2018? Give one of these classes a go and bring your buddies along for the fun:

Aquanation

Over at Aquanation, there's plenty of variety to kick start the new year. 

Aquanation have two new Friday classes in the Main Group Fitness Studio: Freestyle Step with Joyce at 5:30pm and BODYPUMP with Sara at 2pm.

If you like to dip your group fitness toe in the pool, there are some big changes on the Aqua Aerobics front. Aquanation are launching their new Age Friendly Warm Water Classes, which will begin Monday 5 February.

You can also try Aquanation's new Aqua Fusion class on Saturday mornings at 8:30am in the Warm Water pool. This new kid in the group fitness pool is a fusion of pilates, tai chi and yoga in the water. There are also two new class timeslots: Wednesday 7:30am Deep Water with Sim and Thursday 9:30am Warm Water with Robyn.

In the Cycle studio, Judy will be taking over the Thursday 6:30pm RPM class, so get ready for a high intensity workout!

There are also some new Mind Body offerings for the new year including, Tuesday 10:35am Barre Attack with Joyce, Friday 8:15am Pilates with Kerrie and Saturday 9:20am BODYBALANCE with Steph
