Group fitness update: Aquanation and Aquahub

26 June 2017

Get active this winter with Aquahub and Aquanation's brand new timetables. Beginning Monday 17 July, both venues have brought their A-game with a heap of variety for your group fitness pleasure. Don't forget to grab your hard copy of the timetable from each site.

Aquahub

Summer bodies are made in winter and Aquahub has got you covered to beat those winter blues at their own game.

Aquahub's new timetable features more express class options to take your HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) to the next level, new options for our Active older adults and some adjustments to instructors and class times.

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:45pm you can join the coolest club in town with Lee and Sharna - an all new 45 minute XTC (Cross Training Club). This hard working group fitness gang meet up in the main studio and the class is designed to improve strength, agility and cardio fitness. Plus you'll get to use our dedicated new kit of kettlebells and slam balls.

Nicole will pilot our new express FIIT (Functional Interval Total-body Training) format on Thursdays at 6am, where you'll enjoy everything you love about FIIT packed into an efficient 30 minutes.

If you're an Active older adult, look out for more class options that offer a gentler approach to mainstream Barre and Aqua, especially on Fridays because we've got Active Aqua with Brenda at 8:05am and Active Barre with Judy at 11:35am.

A few instructor changes are also in the mix. Mondays you can join Graeme for Bodypump at 9:15am and Mandy for Yoga in the main studio at 10:35am.

Wednesday aqua aerobics will be instructed by Nina, while Greg and Claudia will share FIIT on Saturdays at 9:15am.

There are also a couple of time changes too including Bodypump on Tuesdays at 6:45pm with Virginia and Zumba with Lee on Fridays at 6:15pm.

Barre classes have been in high demand, especially in the evening. We're continuing to work on recruiting and training the best people to deliver this exciting class format towards the next timetable change in October.
