Enjoy free fitness outdoors at our Exercise sessions and Tai Chi series

Exercise Sessions

Learn how to use the new exercise fitness station at Cheong Park and achieve your fitness goals by participating in a variety of different exercises in a social group setting. Ideal for all fitness levels.

Cost: Free

Bookings: Please call 9294 5500 or register at Aquahub, 11 Civic Square, Croydon. A signed agreement and disclaimer form is required by 4pm on 26 February 2016. Numbers are limited to 20 per session. Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that can prevent or ease many ills of ageing. It is a low impact, slow motion exercise often described as meditation in motion and is ideal for all fitness levels and age groups.

Location: Ringwood Town Square
179 Maroondah Hwy, Ringwood (opposite Ringwood Station). Please enter from Maroondah Hwy. Public Transport accessible – Ringwood Bus Depot and Ringwood Train Station across the road. Parking is available within Eastland and surrounding streets.

Participation conditions:

  • Participate in a verbal medical screen at the start of the session
  • Wear laced training shoes
  • Carry a water bottle
  • Wear a hat and sun-block when necessary
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
  • New mums may participate providing birth was over six weeks from session.

All programmed sessions will run unless deemed unsafe due to extreme weather.
